The Terminator (Revamped)

"Hmmm..."

date: July 27, 2009

Okay, let's start. That single sound in the beginning... It doesn't fit to the after melody. Choir have too weak sound. Trumpet is too low and sharp. It reminds me the sounds from the Nintendo game... Make some reverb and sound diffusing. Drums are weak too, the guitar is overpowering it. I recommend you to make drums more powerful. About the tempo, of course. I think guitar is a little slower than it must be. And the last thing... A whole track is kind a "hollow", add more instruments to it, some bassline and additional sound lines will help.

I hope all this speech doesn't offend you. It's still not bad music. Guitar sounds very well and alive. If you'll change the enhancement to the same level that can become a really good track. Good luck! =)

Hmm about the hollow sound Im not so sure what to do about it. Maybe I'll come back and work on it later.

The 5 Seconds Of Awesome Mix

"Good, but it can be better..."

date: March 4, 2009

I'm glad I have a part in this giant work... Track is good, very good. But gaps and breakups are annnoying...A faded transitions between the parts can improve the sound. And of course the placement must be changed: fast and heavy part, then neutral part, then calm part. That kind of classification will be good.

Paradoxial March

"Epic & Hope..."

Really good music... I think it can be a perfect ending theme for medieval strategy game or fantasy RPG. Colorful and pure instrumental sound, emotional wave of epical battle plus very lyrical parts what gives some feeling of hope... It's really great...

Glad you liked it man! A lot of work went into writing it. I kinda wish someone would maybe make a flash for this piece. I think it would make for an epic battle scene during the last haf of the song. :-)

Thanks for the nice words and awesome score! Always appreciated!

"Good work"

date: February 18, 2009

Nice track, man))) But I'm agree with sdfmusic - the choir needs effects. The instruments can be a little softer and calm. A little more experiments with the sound, maybe...

February 18, 2009

Author's Response:

Softer, calmer... sounds nice. Although this is supposed to bring a lot more out of the melody and everything. Have you heard the OST? It's so empty sometimes I'd call it experimental something... I guess contrast is what this mix is about. Oh well, I'll definitely work on sound!
